The Disability Services Advisory Council advises the Lane Council of Governments Board of Directors and agency staff on services provided by Senior and Disability Services (S&DS). The Council also advises on the general welfare of persons with disabilities in Lane County and all other important matters affecting the administration of S&DS except for matters of personnel administration, staff pay and benefits.
The council is composed of 9 to 15 members. Over half the members must be persons with disabilities.
The Disability Services Advisory Council meets 6 times per year, on the 3rd Friday of months January, March, May, July, September, and November.
