Central Lane MPO has an extensive bicycle network that includes nearly 80 miles of off-street bicycle and pedestrian paths and over 140 miles of on-street bicycle lanes and bicycle boulevards. Central Lane MPO been collecting bicycle traffic volume data since 2012. This information is being used to track changes in usage and to better understand the impacts of infrastructure investments, and is being used in health and greenhouse gas planning work.
The second tab at the top of the dashboard will reveal a similar map which shows estimated average annual daily bicycle traffic (AADBT) based on a seasonally-adjusted rate model developed by ODOT. The bar charts below that map provide year-by-year comparisons between model results and actual counts at each count location.
